Online Services
This service is via Skype, Zoom or alternative Video call. This can be a face video call or if you rather, a voice call. Skype and Zoom are free online platforms you can access on your phone, computer or tablet. If you would rather use your mobile phone video calling feature this is an available option also.
This therapy allows you to receive help in the comfort of your own home, from anywhere in the world.
I am aware from working numerous years in a National Specialist service for the NHS about how those who live away from the major city of London simply do not receive the care that will suit their needs. At times, due to illness or having other commitments it may not be possible to travel also. Having therapy online allows you to have all of the positive outcomes of being in the same room as your therapist whilst not leaving your home.
Online therapy is embodied in evidence and numerous NHS practices now offer therapy on this platform. This is due to a great body of research supporting the very good results therapy achieves when engagement is high.
I offer both in-person and online therapy. Online therapy can put your needs first, removing the pressures of travelling, whilst also allowing you to receive specialist treatment
Face-to-Face (In person) services
Intensive Homevisits
Sometimes there is a need for face- to-face (in person) therapy. This service is offered for home assessments and intensive therapy options. Intensive therapy options are ideal for individuals who wish to kick start treatment and can dedicate 4 hours a day to therapy. This option is not available for weekly sessions. If you find you would like to discuss these options further please contact me here.
I offer a range of services and resources for clinicians, as well as for people experiencing psychological distress. Please see here for what services are available

Feedback
Online Therapy was so convenient. I actually opened up more online than I have in therapy previously. Tara is the best psychotherapist in London. I was looking for a private anxiety therapist who specialises in trauma and I found her
I started seeing Tara last year as I have OCD and GAD
Tara had a wealth of strategies which she taught me to use. After six months I saw a marked difference in my mental health.
I would wholeheartedly recommend Tara to anyone who needed CBT
I offer anxiety counselling in Richmond and I am receiving supervision online this has really boosted my skillset and confidence! Also helpful to receive a supervisor report inline with my governing body
